CELEBRATING
25 YEARS
On April 24th, 2004, the Yellowknife Gymnastics Club marked 25 years
of gymnastics in Yellowknife by running away to the circus and inviting the public to join us. The headliner,
Magician Anders Boulanger, wowed the crowd with his antics and tricks and left young and old alike wondering "how'd
he do that?".

There were door prizes galore, including a very special door prize of two
tickets to Calgary (courtesty of First Air, the Airline of the North) and two tickets to attend Cirque du Soliel's production
of Quidam in July, 2004. Seen here is our lucky winner, Kim Burton, surrounded by some of our acrobatic
troupe , the ringmaster and a First Air Representative
There were clowns and jugglers and acrobats. We had free popcorn,
a "loonie carnival" with lots of games and balloon animals. There was face painting and fortune telling and a
good time was had by all.
